On 12/31/09 starting from 5p-9p GEMS will be throwing a New Years eve art collective! This is a great way to enjoy Art, Music, Interior Design Concept and socialization. Start your New Years eve prefunk with us, this event is guaranteed to kick your New Years eve off right!

OK, here's the detail... The show is titled

We Made This Together ; it is a photography show documenting moments of intimacy and voyeurism between the photographer and subject.

Ian Toms is a painter from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Toms has recently shown work in the 2009 PONCHO Auction, as well as the East/ West Emerging Artists Exchange at CoCA. Mr. Toms continues to produce work from his downtown studio and is involved in several curatorial projects. Mr. Toms received his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in 2009 and currently lives and works in Seattle.

Michael Rioux makes performance and visual art. He is originally from Chicago. He has performed with Mordine & Co., Lucky Plush Productions and Luna Negra Dance Theater among others. In 2001 Michael founded Impetus Dance Theater. He served as artistic director and resident choreographer until 2005 when he moved to Seattle. Current projects include performing with Scott/Powell Performance, Salt Horse, Lingo, and directing the performance group The Sho. Michael received his BFA in printmaking and video from Cornish College of the Arts. His concern as an artist is to be full of joy and full of discovery.

Eamonn Parke
originally from Boise, Idaho. His photography captures, admires, and criticizes the health and beauty of life. Eamonn’s motivation stems from an admitted fear of forgetting his own existence, and therefore documents his environment, both familiar and strange. With great affection for analog, and a necessary concession to digital techniques, his work marries old and new. Eamonn Parke Holds a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington.
