Stonington Gallery exhibits an exciting collection of contemporary masterworks from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.  Serving Seattle since 1979, the gallery is respected for the depth and quality of its collection, exceptional service and knowledgeable staff. 

Located in historic Pioneer Square at 119 South Jackson Street the gallery is part of Seattle's traditional art district, offering three floors of outstanding masterworks. Stonington has become an invaluable resource for collectors worldwide, showcasing the best artists of Northwest Coast and Alaskan art.

For 27 years Stonington Gallery’s frame shop has specialized in high quality conservation framing with special attention paid to design and flawless craftsmanship. Using UV protective glass and acid-free mats, Stonington offers a wide selection of mats and moldings to choose from to best complement and preserve all artworks.

Thomas Stream’s paintings are a tribute to his Aleut ancestors and the striking beauty of natural wildlife. His bold use of color and his eye for intricately detailed pattern have evolved over the course of the past two decades. His newest body of work continues an ongoing exploration of these themes.

Perry Eaton carves traditionally based Sugpiaq/Alutiiq masks deeply rooted in the rich culture of Kodiak, Alaska. Eaton’s emotive masks are patterned after the ancient forms of the Alutiiq, who believed that each mask possessed its own spirit.
